Developing European Cloud Communities

The Board of Cloud Community Europe Poland develops cooperation with
Luxembourg. Anna Katarzyna Nietyksza and Krzysztof Sierański met with Mr
Fabrice Aresu, President of Cloud Community Europe Luxembourg, with whom
they discussed the plan of joint activities for the coming months.

As part of the visit, the Board also met with Jerry Probst, International
Business Development Director EBRC, and Philippe Jäggi, CTO European
Business Reliance Centre (EBRC), a company of the POST Luxembourg Group,
Data Centres Tiers IV, providing IT services with the highest level of
security.

Plans for the development of cloud services, the “Souverain Cloud”, and the
possibilities of EBRC’s services for Polish companies and institutions were
discussed. Another highlight of the visit was a meeting with the
Polish-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and participation in a business
conference on cybersecurity organised by the Luxembourg-Polish Chamber of
Commerce. The conference was opened by H.E. Piotr Wojtczak, Ambassador of
the Republic of Poland to Luxembourg and H.E. Mr Paul Schmit, Ambassador of
the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Warsaw, as well as Artur Sosna, President
of the Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce, Carlo Thelen, Managing
Director of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, and Panią Magde Lekan, Head
of the Foreign Trade Office in Amsterdam. Synergies between companies and
institutions from both countries and issues related to the implementation of
DORA and NIS2 were also discussed. As part of the conference, a business
mission was organised by PAiH, Amsterdam branch. StillSec – a member of CCE
Poland – presented the cyber security services it provides to international
clients.
